A new art museum has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Located at 92 Union St., Post Alley in Pike Market, the newcomer is called Seattle Selfie Museum.
The pop-up museum features different rooms of “selfie-ready attractions” that guests can “snap pictures of, touch and experience,” according to its website. Jump into a ball pit, pose in front of a doughnut wall, or create a picturesque illusion in a room of mirrors.
With a 4.5-star rating out of 14 reviews on Yelp so far, the new addition has already made a good impression.
Ammara T., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Feb. 3, wrote, “This place is heaven for photographers and Instagramers. I had so much exploring the two floors with 25 backdrops of different pizzazz. The assortment of colors and themes left me in so much awe.”
Yelper Elyse S. added, “What a great concept. You can buy tickets online (or at the door) but it’s nice because you can see how many are available to know, possibly, how crowded it might be.”
